Make-up Transformation

Image
Mermaid/ Zombie Makeup  Transformation I have chosen to do a ripped mermaid make-up effect transformation. I saw this idea online and thought it was unique instead of creating a simple makeup look. I've used premiere pro to create a time-lapse video. This video shows the process from start to end on how to create this horrifying look. I sped up all my clips so that the viewers could see a quick video on how to create a scary Halloween look. Backing music has been added so the video doesn't become boring. The beginning of my video shows the end look so people can see what was being created. This clip and the last clip have been slowed down instead of sped up so that the viewers can see the exact details of the makeup look.

Mise-En Scene

The actors costume shows his authority and importance in the movie. His smart attire suggests he is either a business man or someone of high significance. His broad shoulders show confidence. He appears to be well groomed and dressed showing he takes pride in his appearance. The lighting is overall quite dark. This increases tension and and creates an uneasy atmosphere. The dark corners surrounding the frame look as though something is beginning to close in and pinpoint him. The characters positioning is quite central. This shows he is the most important character at this moment in the film. The characters facial expressions shows concern yet confidence. He appears to be slightly nervous as we can see the light reflecting of the sweat on his forehead. The actors in the background look as if they belong in the military. They are all standing in form  as if they are awaiting orders from someone higher than them. The setting looks like it is an underground bunker. It looks like it is

Film&TV Language: Poster Analysis

Film&TV Language: Poster Analysis Harrison Ford Blade Runner 1) What do you think the film is about and what might the story line be? The black and blue on the poster suggest that the film is a sci-fi film. The bright lights and the oranges also suggest the film may be an action movie. The gun suggests violence which means there may be a battle. The skyscraper buildings suggests the film take place in the centre of a highly populated city, possibly suggesting that there will be a large number of people affected by the dangers in this film. The idea of the film being a sci-fi suggests to me that there will be unknown species attacking innocent civilians in order to take control. The tag line backs up the idea that the film will be about violence as it suggests man is left to fight its battles alone. 2) What genre do you think the film belongs to? I think the genre of the film is a sci-fi/ action movie. The visible weapons on the top right of the poster suggests violence. Th
